Andrea Vasquez

SENIOR MANAGER

As a Manager, Andrea (she/her) works with Vote Rev and Vote Rev Action Fund’s research team to design and test tactics that will support historically disenfranchised voters. Andrea believes that equitable and rigorous research is a powerful tool for innovation and change, and that supporting America’s democracy is a cause worth fighting for.

Before joining Vote Rev and Vote Rev Action Fund she was a Research Analyst at MDRC, where she helped design and test higher education programs across the country meant to help community college students reach their academic goals. She also translated research evidence into actionable advice for programs looking to apply evidence-based best practices. Before her time at MDRC, Andrea worked for Commonwealth, a Boston-based non-profit organization that works to empower low- and middle-income Americans and help them achieve financial wellbeing.

Andrea holds a B.A. in Financial Economics from Columbia University. She grew up in Weston, Florida and lives in Brooklyn, New York. In her spare time, Andrea can be found tending to her many house plants, cuddling with her cat Sandy, or trying out a new recipe in her kitchen.
